Fr Laurence Laurence Freeman, Director of The World Community for Christian Meditation

My interview with Fr Laurence Laurence Freeman, Director of The World Community for Christian Meditation. Fr Laurence Freeman is a Benedictine monk, an international speaker, retreat leader and meditation teacher. He is active in inter-religious dialogue and peace initiatives working with leaders of other faiths. He sees the contemplative as the essential characteristic of all spirituality. He is the author of a number of books more recently Jesus: The Teacher Within and First Sight: The Experience of Faith. He also contributes regularly to The Tablet.

The interview took place at the Meditatio Seminar on Meditation and Addiction: The Way Through which took place in London in October 2012. Meditatio is the outreach of The World Community for Christian Meditation.

I started the interview by asking Laurence the role of Meditatio.
