The Caravan drop in counselling service 30 years celebration

The Caravan Drop In’ is a drop-in counselling service situated in St. James’s Church, Piccadilly, London. It is run by the CCPE (Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy Education) in partnership with St. James’s Church, which has provided a home for the Caravan since 1982. A garden party took place on 21 September 2012 to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Caravan at St James’s Church, Piccadilly.

I interviewed Rev Donald Reeves the rector of St James’s in the 1980s, Nigel Hamilton who is the director of the CCPE and Allan Pimentel (pictured below), a previous co-ordinator of the service.  In the interview we discuss the nature of counselling and psychotherapy in the context of a drop-in centre.
